The song we picked to dance to was "Wedding Day" by the BeeGees. Since it was an unusual song, and the BeeGees are sort of hard to understand, we typed the lyrics up on cardstock, fancied them up with ribbon, put them in a name card holder, and used them as part of the centerpieces at the reception. Before we danced to it, we had the DJ tell everyone the lyrics were on the tables so people could read along as the song played. It brought tears to several eyes when they could listen to the music and read the words. - Patty, Laramie
We switched the seating at our ceremony: bride's side was on the right, and the groom's side was on the left. This way, my family could see my face, and Daniel's family could see his face. We loved it, and our families loved seeing us instead of our backs! - Balea, Cody
One detail we made sure to include in our ceremony was to have our mothers light the candles with the unity candle to begin the ceremony. This symbolized how our mothers gave us life. As part of the tradition of parents giving their daughter away, my father showed his blessing on our marriage by offering a prayer of blessing, which he did at the conclusion of walking me down the aisle. My sisters really enjoyed this idea, and will hopefully begin a family tradition by continuing this in their own weddings in the future! - Michelle, Casper
