Here’s what Ardent has to say about Haley & Levi… Haley and Levi purchased their GTO the day they got engaged. Haley had the awesome idea to feature it in their session. Her ring is a family heirloom originally belonging to Levi’s great grandmother. They are getting married in July at a private home in Southeastern Wyoming. OH and did I mention they are super cute, uber in love and some of our FAVORITE clients!

Austin and I met last August when school started. We actually first ran into each other moving into the dorms. One of my favorite stories is when he tried to sit by a few other girls at an orientation picnic and i made sure to sit right in between them, Austin didn’t have a choice after that  Our wedding is August 4th on Casper Mountain at the Sunburst Lodge. Its going to be a fun party with lots of our family and close friends. I am very excited. We will both play basketball for Casper College next year.

Something New package: Base fee for 10 hours of service — hourly rates apply for 10+ hours. “Our premium package! Bridal consulting to help you with every detail of your day from start to finish! You can select all our offered services (see list below) or select just those needed.”

Something Old package:  “Let us be your own personal wedding search engine! Your choice of any seven services listed below.”

Something Blue package:  “Leave the details to us on your big day! Your choice of any five services listed below.”

Ceremony:

Check ceremony site setup/decorations

Provide water & small refreshments to dressing room sites, if permitted by venue

Ensure cake, flowers, caterer have delivered on time and to proper location

Pay all services that work on the event

Line up Bride/Groom and bridal party for announcements

Cue Bride/Groom, Best Man/Maid of Honor, parents for welcome, first dance, other dances,toast & cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss

Pack up miscellaneous items and arrange to be taken from reception

Arrange transportation for personal and wedding items, and gifts (before & after reception)

I say ‘A Case for Black’ because I am the one that needs convincing when it comes to black for a wedding. I know, black & white, it’s gorgeous, and I totally agree — and I’ve seen BEAUTIFUL weddings with black as the predominant shade. I’m just a color girl! I like bright splashes and lots of hues. I apologize. So in all fairness, I’m finding some awesome things that are done with black as my own convincing argument that black is beautiful — and can be paired with colors too for those like me!

A few bits of inspiration…

I have been to many a red/black/white wedding, and I do have to admit — they are timelessly elegant.  Just like a red rose…these colors just scream romance and that bit of elegance factor. Classic. www.perfect-wedding-day.com

Black & Grey. Also two classic choices. Allows your color to come in pops such as the flowers or the food…since, after all, it’s kinda difficult (and unappetizing) to serve grey food…LOL… www.oncewed.com

All right, now to the colors! Sorry, I just can’t help myself. Yup, it’s Halloweeny — and if you have an inner Morticia Adams that wants to celebrate, I say go for it! Black & Orange…can be to celebrate Halloween, or perhaps in punches like the flowers and decorations, and paired with white to tone down the holiday connection.  Very versatile! www.yourbestwedding.blogspot.com

Now here is a little derivation from orange — mustard. Great for fall or an elegant event. Warm and rich, and easily paired with red or green or just about any color in small doses… www.damaskweddinginvitations.net

Black & Purple! Purple is traditionally a color of royalty. Think rich, elegant events — maybe throw some white lights in to keep the heaviness lifted slightly. Silver would be another great bling factor to jazz up this jewel toned combo! www.thecakeblog.com

Purple’s half-sibling, pink — they do share red as a parent, you know!  Pink is like purple’s punky sister. Fun and funky in neon shades, sweet and delicate in pastels…can fit in darn near any situation. Last one — BLUE! Blue was described in a recent article that I read to be a classic neutral. Really? You bet, they said — think of blue jeans. Everything goes with them. An interesting argument! And in the case of black, you could go turquoise to navy — although I’m still leery of navy + black — I think it was my mother’s constant reminders of “Don’t pair navy and black!” that are ringing in my ears… www.cakesuite.com
