Thanks to Dreaming Hollow Photography in Laramie for sending in this creative and fun engagement spotlight! For those of you familiar with Laramie, you’ll recognize our historic Train Depot on First Street in Downtown Laramie as part of these images. Here’s what Tessa had to say about Fawn & Glen…

“This couple requested one of our Fine Art stylized vintage sessions. We wanted a very romantic, dramatic 1940s feel. We enjoyed planning out the details together for the clothing, locations and the storyline!”

Thanks again to Tessa of Dreaming Hollow Photography for sharing this beautiful & creative engagement — you can find Tessa online at www.dreaminghollowphotography.com, email her at dreaminghollowphotography@gmail.com or give her a ring at 307.399.1295. OK, I am IN LOVE with this wedding from {k} photography in Thermopolis… I couldn’t pick out just a few images, so I went a bit nuts here. (I’d sorry, but…I’m really not. Just take a look.)  John & Jessi were married September 22, 2012, near Pavillion, Wyoming. Obviously western was the theme, but I have to say that this is a kick butt western wedding…love love LOVE love LOVE love love love…and love some more. OK, I’m going to stop now. (I really do love this wedding!)

Thanks to Julie Livermore Photography for sending in this beautiful engagement story from Rawlins… Cheynae & Rob met in October 2007 when Cheynae was a waitress at Sanford’s in Rawlins. The restaurant has since closed, and Cheynae & Rob moved on, but wanted to return to Rawlins and have their engagement shoot take place…”where their story began,” as Julie says. “Because they were only in town for a night, we had to deal with some frigid temps and gusting winds…just a typical late spring day in Carbon County!  In addition to some images downtown, with the Sanford’s building in the frame, we also drove out of town a bit to take advantage of the unique Wyoming scenery!”

Cheynae shared a couple of special stories about Rob’s proposal on December 27, 2011:  “Rob secretly invited my dad and his dad & stepmom to Montana (I was under the impression they were there for Christmas) and proposed in our new camper. This was a big step for us as it was our first actual “home” together!”  Rob also, without knowing, chose a very special day to propose. “Rob proposed on his grandmother’s birthday and didn’t realize it until we called his aunt to spill the good news,” Cheynae says. “She passed away from cancer a few years ago and was very near & dear to Rob’s heart. So we took that as a spiritual sign that she approved.” Cheynae adds that Rob just woke up that morning and “felt that it was right.” Chills!

Cheynae & Rob are planning their wedding date for June 7, 2014.

Thanks to Shane of Photography from the Hart in Lander for sending us this spotlight! I love what Shane had to say about Chelsie & Matt’s wedding…

Chelsie and Matt were married at the Museum of American West, in Lander on June 30th, 2012.  It was a fun filled wedding full of memories — including a special, handmade Damascus steel wedding ring for Matt, hand beaded moccasins for Chelsie and her bridesmaid, to Grandpa’s old Ford that they drove away in.

See below for a photo of Matt touching Chelsie’s face…I love the caption Shane put with that one…

From Shane:  When it came to this moment, Matt commented later that he knew at that exact moment that he was the luckiest man in the universe… (To which I had to grab the closest Kleenex! Too sweet!)

Thanks to H. Michael Roberts from Sheridan for sending in some really fascinating images from a recent inspiration shoot. Mike shares that the old church in the photos is in Big Horn, Wyoming, and is owned by a family there. A member of the family, Anne Montgomery, is a painter who lives in Durango, Colorado. She haunted the local thrift shops for dresses, and Mike arranged for the models and arranged the setting. Photos were also taken at the Sheridan cemetery (at sunrise), as well as in the loft of a barn in Big Horn. Mike found unique props to complete the photos. Some of his models are also active photographers in Sheridan! I personally enjoy his unique use of composition and color. Really neat stuff — Sheridan is such a diverse area, rich in natural beauty of all types!
